Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Eversales Consulting LLC (“we”, “us”), operator of legacycheck.org, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our Service.
1. Information we collect
To run your report and deliver it to you, we collect:
- Profile information you submit in the funnel: first and last name (yours or the person the report concerns), maiden name, decade of birth, US states and Canadian provinces of residence, and any additional facts you choose to add.
- Contact information: email address (required to deliver the report), and phone number if you provide it.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe and PayPal. We receive a transaction identifier and billing country. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
2. How we use your information
- To run the cross-reference analysis against public unclaimed-property and benefits sources.
- To generate and deliver your report.
- To communicate with you about your order and respond to support requests.
- To detect fraud and abuse.
- To improve the Service and measure marketing performance.
3. Third-party processors
We use the following third parties. Each has their own privacy policy; we only share what is necessary for the purpose listed.
- Stripe and PayPal — payment processing.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel & Conversions API — we send hashed events (including a hashed version of your email) to measure ad performance.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymous session analytics to improve usability.
- Email delivery — transactional email to send your report and receipts.
4. We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers. We do not use it to serve ads to third parties on our behalf beyond the measurement purposes listed above.
5. Retention
We keep your profile and report for as long as needed to fulfill the Service, handle support, and comply with tax and legal obligations (typically up to seven years for financial records). You may request earlier deletion as described below.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct or update it.
- Request its deletion.
- Object to or restrict its processing.
- Receive a copy of it in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these, email raphael@eversales-consulting.com from the address used at checkout. We respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Clarity), ad measurement (Meta Pixel), and core functionality. You can block cookies in your browser settings; doing so may break parts of the Service.
8. Security
We use HTTPS end-to-end, restrict access to production systems, and rely on processors (Stripe, PayPal, Vercel) that meet recognized security standards. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. International users
Our systems are hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, you consent to the transfer of your information to the US, which may have different data-protection rules than your country.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated on this page or by email.
